Brett G. Tollman is a veteran of long-standing in the travel and tourism industry, with more than thirty years of experience to his credit. Los Angeles is home today to the CEO and President of The Travel Corporation (TTC), and his wife and children. Brett Tollman completed his schooling at Rugby, and received his B.Sc. in Hotel Management from Cornell University, making him the third generation of hoteliers in the family. The Travel Corporation is a family owned business.

Both TTC, and Brett Tollman personally, are committed to preserving the environment and promoting sustainable tourism in ecologically threatened areas. This is implemented through the corporation‘s Conservation Foundation, of which Brett Tollman was an establishing member. Among other activities, the Foundation is one of the sponsors of the Tourism for Tomorrow Awards. One of the main aims of the prestigious award is to pay tribute to the achievements of organizations that have excelled in projects aimed at protecting the planet for the future. Together with various partners, TTC Conservation Foundation has been involved in a number of other projects such as protection of the Atlantic Forest in Brazil, which has been designated a World Biosphere Reserve; sponsoring reports on research about sustainable travel into Venice aimed to ensure that the city will remain inhabitable; and a first of its kind project to reduce the impact that river cruises have on the environment, on the Nile.
Under Brett Tollman‘s leadership, in 2011 TTC announced its amalgamation with Celine Cousteau, granddaughter of the world renowned Jacques Cousteau, and daughter of film maker and ocean explorer, Jean-Michel Cousteau. Together TTC‘s globally recognized holiday brand, Contiki holidays, they will assist in educating further their travellers and their teams with regards to environmental issues, focusing on marine ecosystems. They will combine their efforts to continue construction on the achievements of their current TTC conservation foundation projects. Brett Tollman has declared his excitement in joining with Celine and portraying their embedded testimonial of the vital effect they are both making to the world‘s array of natural beauty.
Once every ten years TTC has held its International Sales Conference, hosted this past year by the city of Cape Town, South Africa. This reiterates TTC‘s long term commitment to the country of Brett Tollman‘s birth, and takes the first steps towards creating long-term business development and growth in the country.
Brett Tollman‘s ongoing list of involvements in professional organizations is also a high priority. He is Vice Chairman responsible for membership of the World Travel and Tourism Council, as well as a member of the executive committee. As a member of the Young Presidents Organization Brett Tollman has the opportunity to meet with other international presidents from around the globe and share ideas. Brett Tollman is personally involved in the corporation‘s mentoring programming, being acutely aware of the need to pass on his experience and expertise.
In response to the Feb 2011 earthquake that took place in Christchurch New Zealand, Brett Tollman initiated a $50,000 donation on behalf of The Travel Corporation to relief efforts in the area. The natural disaster caused damages to the Canterbury area estimated between $7.5-11 US billion dollars. The earthquake‘s magnitude was recorded at 6.3 and affected local businesses and homeowners living in New Zealand‘s largest city including The Travel Corporation‘s inbound touring programs for AAT Kings, Trafalgar Tours, and Contiki Holidays. TTC‘s donation will go towards helping local citizens rebuild the city and return to a normal daily routine.
